Doctor-Patient Summit Oxford University July 16th

The Doctor-Patient Summit is on Sunday 16th July at St Catherine's College, Oxford. This will be led by Dr Jaimal Kothari of Oxford UT Hospitals. Leading WM specialists speak, individual 'meet the doctor' sessions and more! Booking is online, or by post. There is some single bed college ensuite accommodation available at £80 including breakfast - make a weekend of it, and one or two doubles at £110. There likewise may also be a possibility of dinner in College on Saturday Night at £26. If you have questions please contact us, not the College though! 1300 – 1400                Lunch, College Hall     (sit down served meal served in College Refectory at 1pm)

1400 – 1430               Patient Tales (Patients post-transplant, on clinical trial, newly diagnosed, on BTK inhibitors).  Led by Dr Harriet Scorer  WMUK Trustee

1430 – 1500                Peripheral neuropathy & autoimmune complications in WM    Dr Jam Kothari, Oxford University Hospitals

                         1. Stem Cell Transplantation in WM - led by Dr Chara Kyriakou, UCLH   

                         2. ‘Younger’ patients with WM- led by Dr Shirley D’Sa, UCLH &  Lymphoma Assn.
     How old is a ‘young’ WM patient? A self-selecting workshop   Supporting those diagnosed of working age, with younger families etc 

3. Fatigue in WM and Effective Self Management – led by:  TBC Clinician

1530 ish                                 coffee available in Foyer

1545 – 1700                         ‘Meet the Doctor Lite’ - breakout sessions for 5-10 minute one to one discussion on any one aspect of your care with a member of the WM expert clinical team. Sign up by 1300!

1700                                         End of Summit.  Please complete a feedback form before you go and leave at registration desk!

Cost: £31-00 per person,  Children under 16 free.   This includes served lunch in College Refectory, tea, coffee etc. Please book online below.   Please carefully read the instructions for giving your details on the payment page as these generate the badges.  Most credit/debit cards or Paypal accepted. Payment by cheque: please make cheques to WMUK, writing the names of the attendees on the reverse (indicating who is the patient, vegetarians etc) and an email address for acknowledgement. Send to WMUK, 44 Beresford Road London E4 6EE. No tickets or refunds can be issued. Please just turn up, sign up and collect your badge.    There is only Disabled Parking at the College.  

If you would like to book accommodation at the college on Saturday night or have dinner on Saturday night, please send us an email or message via the site, and we will get back to you. First come, first served.
