We have a new Chair!

The new WMUK Chair
Nina Pinwill

WMUK is excited to announce the interim appointment of Nina Pinwill as its Chair of Trustees, following the resignation of Chair Will Franks at the end of last year.

Nina has been a Trustee at WMUK for over four years and brings vast healthcare experience to the charity and is currently Head of Commercial Operations at NHS England, where she has responsibility for the Cancer Drugs Fund, the Innovative Medicines Fund and patient access schemes.

Prior to this, Nina worked at the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) for 17 years.

Following a selection process in December 2022, Nina will hold the role until a more permanent appointment is made later this year.

Jane Nicholson, CEO, said:

“Nina has been a huge asset to the Board of Trustees since she joined in 2018 and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to help take WMUK forward in its strategic direction. I’m excited to welcome Nina as Chair of the Board and work with her to develop the work of our charity.”

Nina said: “I’m thrilled to have been selected as interim Chair for WMUK. It is a brilliant charity, and it is a real honour to take on this role. I’d like to thank the former Chair, Will Franks, for all his work and dedication to WMUK during his time here. I’m really excited to work with the Trustees and continue to build on the achievements of WMUK over the past 18 months.”
