In August 2020, a group of men and women will be jumping on their bikes and riding from John O’Groats to Lands End, in support of The Rory Morrison WMUK Registry, The Brain Tumour Trust and Headcase Cancer Trust.
Setting off on Monday 17th August and cycling over 12 days, the group will aim to arrive at Lands End on Friday 28th August, during which they will have covered over 1,000 miles and climbed over 60,000 ft - twice the height of Mount Everest!
It's being organised by Rory's brother-in-law, Peter Jenkins, and although most riders are in their middle years (!) includes Rory's son Reuben. It's a family affair, they will not only be riding in memory of Rory (who died of WM in 2013) but also of their cousin, Alex Baigler, who recently died from an aggressive glioblastoma brain tumour.
Anyone is welcome to join the R4AR Jogle team for all of the ride, a day of the ride along the route, or even just a mile!
