Online Learning Programme for Healthcare Professionals

This free online learning programme, is the first of its kind, built in partnership with Guys Cancer Academy. It’s been designed for nurses and allied healthcare professionals caring for patients with Waldenstrom’s macroglobulinaemia (WM), or looking to increase their knowledge of this rare blood cancer.

Waldenstrom’s macroglobulinaemia (WM) is a rare and complex blood cancer that requires specialist, person-centred care.

This online learning programme combines practical, relevant information with real-life patient insights and reflective learning to build your understanding of WM. From its biology and presentation to complications and holistic support, you’ll gain confidence in recognising, managing and supporting people living with WM.

The course is free.

Type of learning

This programme is fully online, with knowledge test quizzes throughout, and can be done at your own pace.

Length of Programme

We estimate to complete all modules, it will take approximately 20 hours in total. You can stop and start at any time and save your progress.

Certification

On completion of each module, you will receive a certificate that can be used towards your Continuing Professional Development (CPD). There is also an opportunity at the end of the programme to produce a written reflective account which can be used for NMC revalidation.

This programme is managed, delivered and awarded by WMUK in collaboration with Guy’s Cancer Academy and is accredited by CPD UK

Below are all five modules to the online learning programme. For the best experience, we recommend completing them in order – but you’re free to learn at your own pace, pause anytime, and revisit any section whenever you need.
