What is bone marrow trephine?

Bone marrow trephine

Bone marrow trephine is a procedure where a small part of the solid bone marrow tissue is taken from the centre of the bone. This is usually done in at the same time as a bone marrow aspiration, as a part of a bone marrow biopsy.
